Christmas was so nice this year. We bounced from Ken and Joans Christmas Eve, to our house Christmas morning , back to Ken and Joan’s for Christmas night.
The older I get, the more I want to create memories and give gifts that create memories, instead of the picture frame, candle, trendy something or other that ends up getting tossed in a year or two. Now, I am not great at this yet, and I always think people would rather get a “real” gift, but I went out on a limb this year with our folks and thought I would give them a “memory.”

This year, we changed it up and did our Rockford Christmas at my mom’s instead of my grandmas. It was so fun watching the kiddos open gifts and run up and down the stairs. My side of the family doesn’t get together a bunch, so it was nice seeing everyone. The meal was great and I really enjoyed being with family.
Our 2008 Highlights
Jut is still working at Beach Pump and Well and Stefanie is still at Immanuel Part-time. We continue to help out with HS Youth Ministry. We stayed busy this year with two family weddings, baby showers, work, and traveling.
Welcome to Christmas, Rockford style! That’s right, my wonderful Aunt Nancy came up with the creative idea to have us all wear santa hats…festive, huh!?
