TAKE A LISTEN
Over various seasons of my life, I have had the high honor of joining friends in our quest for rest, healing and curiosity about the human experience. I invite you to listen in!
For months now, we’ve been mentioning Onsite’s world-renowned Living Centered Program. Today we’re offering you an inside look at one of the hundreds of transformational stories that come out of this five-day group experiential program. Join us for a special two-part interview with Stefanie Boyce, speaker, yoga instructor, spiritual director, and retreat facilitator. Sitting down with Miles before and after her Living Centered Program, these interviews with Stefanie offer a glimpse into her incredible story of resilience, followed by the personal insights she gained from her time at Onsite. This entire interview is grounded in Stefanie's profound belief in the collective healing and connection we can all bring to the world.
Is restorative rest part of your rhythms of life? I am so pleased to share this truly beautiful conversation I had with my dear friend, Stefanie Boyce. Listen in as we talk about slowing down, giving up control, fighting the hustle and hurry of our culture, and developing patience. We go deep and talk about the role of pain and suffering plays in spirituality. Stefanie shares her story and we have some sacred moments in the midst of it. You won’t want to miss this beautiful conversation.
We often treat busy like a badge, and we use busy as a distraction from what is happening inside and around us. What would happen if we turn down the decibels of our lives and tune into ourselves and our relationships? What would it look like to NOT be busy? What a brave invitation this week’s podcast guest, Stefanie Boyce of the Oaks Retreat Center in Ramona California, gives us. Join April Bordeau, Director at Care to Change, and Stefanie Boyce as they discuss “Breaking Free of the Tyranny of the Urgent.”
Stefanie Boyce, Director at The Oaks, joins us on the podcast this week to encourage us and talk through holding space for ourselves and others. We’re talking about: Where transformation happens; The importance of slowing down and cultivating good soil in our lives; What we need to let go of that’s holding us back; What some of the best leaders do; How we can both grieve the “known” in our lives and live expectantly in joy of the adventure ahead.
This conversation was a really deep breath in and then out again. Stefanie Boyce is the best teacher of how to swim through the most treacherous, overwhelming waters and emerge with robust hope and honest faith. I hope you grab hold of her words and don’t let go.
Today I'm joined by my dear friend Stefanie Boyce. She is joining me for an honest conversation about how to create and stick to priorities through transition, making sure that you don't miss the middle even if you feel like you aren't exactly where you want to be. Sometimes our circumstances don't allow for it, so don't miss what is right in front of you.
Stefanie teaches us how to find joy through the pain, cherish the present moment, and handle the complicated feelings attached to this journey. She inspires us to feel our true feelings, ask for help when needed, embrace our fears, and move forward while honoring our pain.
Stefanie was so kind and gracious to vulnerably open up her heart and share her pain with us. The lessons her pain has taught her are really lessons for us all. I know her gentle strength will encourage so many who are walking through the valley today.
Stefanie gives to us an overwhelming perspective on what it means to be resilient and move forward when life comes crashing down.
